Call the Coastguard Rescue Coordination Center (RCC) / Maritime Operations Center (MOC) by: 

• dialing 913 toll free or by 
• using VHF channel 16. 

The Coastguard coordinates all Search And Rescue (SAR) operations with relevant parties, and as such also CITRO Curacao.

CITRO Curacao is the dedicated SAR organization around Curacao.

CITRO Curaçao provides help voluntarily and at no cost.
But donations are highly appreciated.

IF HELP IS NEEDED, DO THE FOLLOWING:

STAY CALM
CALL: 913 or channel 16 as appropriate
SAY: MAYDAY, MAYDAY, MAYDAY or PAN-PAN, PAN-PAN, PAN-PAN
as appropriate and provide the following information:

• Name and/or identification of vessel
• Position as accurately as possible
• Type of distress
• Type of assistance required
• Number of persons aboard
• Intentions
• Any other relevant information
